Introduction

Updated: Jun 10, 2020

Welcome to my new blog.

The theme:

Medicine, with an emphasis on pathology, and how to write fiction about it. For each blog, I’ll usually focus on a topic in the media.

Who is this for?

The general public and writers, especially writers of medical crime fiction.

Those in the medical field are, of course, welcome. Please note, however, that my discussions won’t be exhaustive academic treatments of the subject matter.

Why am I doing this?

Because I’m a biochemist, a pathologist*, and a writer of crime fiction.

*Note: I am not a forensic pathologist. They tend to be even weirder than other pathologists.
